To provide participants with training in advanced first aid resuscitation techniques, life support and management of casualty(s) until the arrival of medical or other assistance and provision of support to other providers in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
Advanced Resuscitation has both practical and theoretical elements, where participants demonstrate procedures of techniques used and exhibit the necessary knowledge on administering advanced resuscitation techniques in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines and the Health Training Package. Alternative assessments can be made (eg. Oral).
Our self-paced online assessment allows you to complete the theory component of your first aid training at a time that suits you. Work through the interactive modules on any device, review the material as often as you need, and progress at your own pace. Once finished, you’ll simply attend the practical session to demonstrate your skills and receive your nationally accredited certificate.
The HLTAID015 certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Annual renewal is recommended to keep your advanced life support skills sharp and aligned with the latest guidelines. Both initial and refresher training are available through Accelerate First Aid.
